About Metro Move Fest

 Metro Move Fest began in 2022 as the Nesfield Performance 5K, raising $12,000 in support of local community initiatives. Building on that momentum, the Nesfield Performance Foundation officially launched Metro Move Fest in 2023 in partnership with Metro Bethesda Rotary and the Spirit Club Foundation. The first annual Metro Move Fest raised an impressive $26,000 and marked a major step forward in expanding our impact.

Beyond bringing people together through movement, Metro Move Fest exists to raise awareness and generate meaningful financial support for organizations aligned with our mission and values.

As we move into 2026, our focus is on continuing to grow the event, deepen our community impact, and expand the support we provide to our partner organizations. By attending, donating, and inviting others to participate, you help strengthen this mission and the community behind it.
