Bubble Sumo Showdown

  The Bubble Sumo Showdown is a safe, high-energy activity where participants enter inflatable suits and attempt to push their opponent out of a marked ring. Participants can choose to play casually or compete in the structured Sumo Showdown Tournament.

  Option 1: “Just for Fun” Matches

• No scores, no eliminations — just bump and laugh!
• Open to kids (ages 6–15) and adults (16+)
• Supervised by staff to ensure safety and fairness
• Great for younger kids, families, or those trying it for the first time

🏆 Option 2: Competitive Tournament (Opt-In)

• Open to anyone 10+ who chooses to opt in
• Must win 3 mini-matches (30 seconds each) to advance
• Top 4 competitors compete in the Sumo Championship Final:
  • 1-on-1 elimination style
  • 3  rounds, 1 minute each
  • Winner crowned Bubble Sumo Champion!

1.   Waiver Required: All participants (or parents/guardians for minors) must sign a liability waiver before entering a match.
2. Gear Use: Only the provided inflatable bubble suits may be used. Helmets are not required but optional.
3. Supervision: Every match is supervised by trained staff or volunteers who can pause/stop matches at any time.
4. No Head Contact or Excessive Force: No charging headfirst. Only controlled bumping using the torso is      allowed.
5. Footwear: Participants must wear sneakers or soft-soled shoes. No cleats, boots, or sandals.
6. No Participation If Injured or Under Influence: Participants showing signs of injury, intoxication, or unsteady balance will not be permitted to compete.
7. Time Limits:
   • Casual matches: 30 seconds or at staff discretion
   • Tournament  matches: strict 30-second rounds; Finals: 1-minute rounds

1. No Outside Coaching or Aggression: Sideline participants and parents must remain respectful. Any  unsportsmanlike behavior will result in disqualification.

  Bubble Sumo is intended to be a safe, fun event. However, like any physical activity, there are inherent risks involved. By participating:

• You acknowledge that bumps, falls, and light collisions may occur.
• You agree not to hold the organizers, staff, or venue liable for minor injuries or accidents.
• Participants who do not follow the rules will be asked to leave the event area.

  Final Notes for Participants

• Arrive 5-10 minutes early to check in and gear up.
• Staff will guide you through safety and gameplay rules before each session.
• Hydrate before and after matches.
• Keep it playful. This is about movement, not mayhem.

All tournament participants must sign a liability waiver or have a guardian sign for them.
